何日春再来

十六岁始，大人管她叫春姑，
六个儿子更丰满了她的春蚕梦。
如今，八十六岁的她，
和儿子生活在同一个城市。
孩子他爸过世早，
她独守“春闺”三十载。
孩子们早早约定：
每家每年探视老人一次。
春姑多年腿瘸，无法独自出门，
她最最受不了每个春晨
邻家小狗汪汪叫着欢快出门时，
对，她必须服上一粒救心丸！
年老体衰，春又奈何哉？
隔窗问天，何日春再来？
宁可春不来！！！
谁说世上只有妈妈好？
谁说世上只有妈妈会老？
春姑有时恨不得天塌下来，
兴许能邂逅一缕蓝，
融入心怡的大自然！
When Will Spring Come Again？

Since she was 16, she has been called Spring Maid by adults,
Her dream of being a spring silkworm stirred by her six sons.
Now aged 86, she is living in the same city as her sons do.
Her husband passed away thirty years ago,
She has ever since been alone in her spring boudoir.
All her sons agreed some time earlier
That every family visits their mother only once a year.
Spring Maid has been limping for years, unable to go out by herself,
So what she cannot stand most is every spring morning
When the dog next door goes out bow-wowing cheerfully.
Yeah, she has to take a heart-saving pill for surviving!
Old age means feebleness. How helpless she is with helpless spring!
She is asking loudly and repeatedly out of the window:
When will the spring of mine return?
No! She would rather that the damned spring never occur again!
Who said that only Mother is the best in the world?
Who said that only Mother will get old in the world?
Spring Maid sometimes even begs the sky to fall down,
So that she might encounter a wisp of blue of the sky,
Hopefully becoming a part of the pleasant Nature in her mind!
