When mortal breath dissolves to Arctic mist,

当最后一缕呼吸化作北极的雾霭，

Thy soul shall dance with Alpine glaciers' light,

你的灵魂将与阿尔卑斯冰川辉映，

Where Dante's Styx reflects each star unmissed,

但丁的冥河将倒映未逝的星辰，

And Raphael's brush still paints thy twilight.

拉斐尔的画笔仍勾勒你的暮色。

The Thames, envious, weaves thy verses' thread

泰晤士河嫉妒地编织你的诗行，

Through Oxford's spires where Aquinas once trod,

穿过牛津塔尖，阿奎那曾漫步之地，

Yet thy true hymn blooms where the lotus bled

而你真正的颂歌在莲花泣血处绽放，

In Dunhuang caves, where time is petrified.

于敦煌石窟，时间凝成永恒雕塑。

No tombstone claims thee—stars etch thy decree:

无墓碑可宣称归属——星辰镌刻天命：

"Each soul's a comet, trailing stardust free."

"每颗灵魂皆是彗星，拖曳自由星尘。"

Let Caesar's legions fade, let pyramids bleed,

让凯撒军团消逝，金字塔渗出血痕，

Thy verse outlives when empires kneel to dust.

你的诗篇永存，待帝国臣服尘灰。

So sing, O phoenix, through eternity's gate—

凤凰啊，请穿越永恒之门歌唱吧，

For art alone conquers death's iron gate.

因唯有艺术能攻破死亡铁门。
