A vein of the Pearl River water, a thousand miles of Yunnan sentiment. The surging Pearl River originates from a clear spring on Maxiong Mountain in the eastern Yunnan Plateau. Setting off from Yunnan, it cuts through mountains and ridges, rushing toward the sea, carrying the grace and profound affection of the Land of Clouds to thousands of miles away. Sharing the same river water binds Yunnan and the Pearl River Basin by blood; the flowing Pearl River carries the Yunnan sentiment engraved into the marrow.

The root of the Pearl River is deeply rooted in Yunnan. The water outlet cave on the eastern foot of Maxiong Mountain, where clear springs gurgle, is the initial heartbeat of the Pearl River. Here lie the footprints of Xu Xiake's source exploration, the geographical wonder of "one drop watering three rivers", and an ecological barrier guarded by Yunnan people for generations. Starting from the plateau, the river water moistens the rape flower sea in Luoping, carries the fragrance of Dianhong black tea from Fengqing, bears the profoundness of the Cuan culture and the lingering charm of the Ancient Tea Horse Road, flowing eastward all the way, spreading Yunnan's scenery and cultural heritage to every inch of land it flows through.
