突然一阵冲动

要写个自传

谁都在写自传

我也要写

有人在意么？

谁在乎我的籍贯

我的年月

我的身高

我的父母？

都去掉吧！

谁在乎我去了哪里上学

哪里上班

哪里旅游

哪里娱乐？

也去掉吧！

谁又在乎

我的爱 和恨

我的喜好

我的习惯

我的志向？

通通去掉吧！

只剩下了 

一个魂

Autobiography

Awaken from an illness slumber, 

An impulse hits, 

Need to write an autobiography. 

Everyone is doing it, 

Why not me? 

Anyone minds? 

But who would care about 

My birthplace? 

Or my birth date? 

Or my height? 

Or my parents? 

Then remove them right away! 

Who would care about 

Where I went to school? 

Or where to work? 

Or where to go for fun?

Then remove them also! 

And who would care about 

My love or hate? 

Or my hobbies? 

Or my habits? 

Or my ambitions? 

Then remove them all! 

Yes, what's left is

Just a soul!
