毕竟西湖六月中，风光不与四时同。
接天莲叶无穷碧，映日荷花别样红。
West Lake in June has a unique flair,
No other seasons can indeed compare.
Sea of lotus leaves extend far and wide,
Sun-drenched blossom turn uniquely red'n bright.
天门中断楚江开，碧水东流至此回。
两岸青山相对出，孤帆一片日边来。
Tianmen Gate gives way to Yangtze River,
Eastward currents hesitate at this juncture.
On opposite sides blue peaks stand tall,
Behind sunset emerges a lone sail.
半亩方塘一鉴开，天光云影共徘徊。问渠那得清如许？为有源头活水来。
A half-acre pond mirrors lingering clouds in the sky.
Such clear water, ask not, could only arrive from very high.
