Night at Yu Garden
In Gaotanyan, Chongqing, the night at Yu Garden seems to be dotted with stars and filled with bright lights, sparkling and vivid. Wandering along this street adorned with red lanterns, I feel as if I have stepped into an ancient prosperous era. The浓厚 festival atmosphere is like the melody of an ancient instrument, melodious and profound.
The Chinese knots and lanterns along the roadside sway gently with the wind, as if they are whispering about the past ages. They are not just decorations, but also witnesses of history and carriers of culture. Every detail seems to be narrating the ancient yet vivid story of Yu Garden.
Imagine back in the Anti-Japanese War era, this was where Chairman Mao met with the democratic figures of Chongqing. Back then, Yu Garden might not have had the bustling scene of today, but it possessed a unique charm. The lights back then might not have been as bright as they are today, but they emitted a warm glow. Those democratic figures, fueled by their patriotism and desire for national independence, gathered here to discuss strategies. Their passion and dedication are still felt on this land.
For me, having resided here, this land holds a deep affection. Whenever night falls, I love to stroll along this street, soaking in the festival atmosphere and listening to the ancient tales. The red lanterns and Chinese knots seem like old friends, witnessing my growth and the changes of this land.
Today's Yu Garden might no longer be the same as during the Anti-Japanese War, but it still carries that weighty history and culture. As night falls, the brightly lit street and the浓厚 festival atmosphere seem to narrate the ancient yet vivid stories of Yu Garden. And I, still willing to linger here, embrace that warmth and tranquility.
The night at Yu Garden is like a dream, an ancient yet vivid dream. Here, I can feel the weight of history and the splendor of culture. This is a place that captivates my heart and a place that I will never forget.
