April with Winding Serpents
By Rosen
A snake coils its tongue without burden,
Life-giving is an upside-down bowl of spring water.
It is the mountain peak twirling in the wrinkles of spring,
Whispering to people walking on their bellies.
And April likes to twirl in triangular thoughts,
Clogging the skin with bone strength, brimming with blooming flowers.
April is hazily struggling to restore
The childlike boy spitting his tongue out.
