今天是世界第50个环境日了。2023年世界环境保护日的主题是“减塑检塑”，为什么我们要减塑捡塑？因为塑料危机威胁着环境、人类健康和经济。中国境内主题是：中国主题:低碳减排绿色生活，共建生态文明,共享绿色未来。以“美丽中国”新面貌形象，屹立于世界地球村的东方。
世界环境日为每年的6月5日，反映了世界各国人民对环境问题的认识和态度，表达了人类对美好环境的向往和追求，渴望全世界对环境保护共同认识和行动。促进全球环境意识、提高对环境问题的有效治理。
今天迎来了第50个世界环境日，象征着重在参与世界“减塑捡塑”行动。世界环境日的确立，旨在地球是人类和其他物种的共同家园，然而由于人类常常采取乱砍滥伐、竭泽而渔等不良发展方式，地球上物种灭绝的速度大大加快。生物链多样化正处丧失的趋势，生态系统滑向不可恢复的临界点，如果地球生态系统最终发生不可挽回的恶化，人类文明所赖以存在的相对稳定的环境条件将不复存在。
世界环境日的意义，在于提醒全世界注意地球状况和人类活动对环境的危害。引起各国政府在这一天开展各种活动来强调保护和改善人类环境的重要性，共建清洁美丽世界。呼吁全世界为维护和改善人类环境，造福地球村，为了子孙后代有个幸福家园而共同努力。

Tomorrow marks the 50th World Environment Day, symbolizing the focus on participating in the world's "Reduce and Pick Up Plastic" campaign. The establishment of World Environment Day aims that the Earth is the common home of human and other species. However, the speed of extinction of species on the Earth is greatly accelerated because of the bad development methods of human beings, such as cutting down trees and draining the lake to catch fish. The diversity of biological chain is in the trend of loss, and the ecosystem is sliding to the critical point of irrecoverable. If the Earth ecosystem eventually deteriorates irretrievably, the relatively stable environmental conditions on which human civilization depends will no longer exist.
The significance of World Environment Day is to remind the world of the state of the Earth and the harm to the environment caused by human activities. It causes governments to carry out various activities on this day to emphasize the importance of protecting and improving the human environment and building a clean and beautiful world. Appeal to the world to maintain and improve the human environment, for the benefit of the global village, for future generations to have a happy home and work together.
