1、采桑子·密城夏季节
碧波热浪连天起，
北美名湖。
密执安湖，
阵阵清风暑气驱。
一年一度琼浆节，
玩得心舒。
饮得身舒，
起舞掀歌山水呼。

Heat and blue waves rise up to the sky,
In North America famous lake.
Michigan Lake,
Summer heat by gusts of cool wind away break.
Annual refined Nectar Festival,
Have a good time.
Drink for cool time,
Dancing and singing with scenes I'm.
2、浪淘沙·尼亚加拉瀑布
银水九天流，
直泻无休，
滔天巨浪没轻舟。
揽视壮观奇景处，
客自全球。
瀑布落纤绸，
二水①悠悠，
风情北美咏诗酬。
太白魂来兴望叹，
赞句千秋。
注: ① “二水”指北美五大湖中的伊利湖和安大略湖。

Niagara Falls
From ninth heaven silver waters flow,
Gushing down the rest no,
Towering torrential waves drown the canoe.
In these spectacular sights up and low,
Guests from the world come and go.
Waterfalls as fine silks shine and glow,
Waters from two lakes①mix and show,
To amorous scenes of North America chant poem.
Travel and sigh here are Li Bai's soul,
Lines shock the universe whole.
Note: ① "Two water" refers to Lake Erie and Lake Ontario of the Great Lakes of North America.

Chenggang, Professor of English, College of Foreign Languages, who is
mainly engaged in the teaching of translation theory and practice for
MTI students, and is a member of China Traditional Poetry Society and a
council member of Yunnan Translators Association. He is the author of

Inter-translation of Selected English and Chinese Poems (2013); and
