那是很久，很久以前的事情了，
在临海的一个王国里。
有一位少女，或许你也熟悉：
她的芳名就叫安娜贝尔•丽。
这少女，她活着再无别的秘密，
除了爱我，还有为我所爱的期许。
那时我少不经事，她也未脱稚气，
在这临海的王国里。
然而我们相爱，以超乎爱意的爱意。
我们相爱，我与我的安娜贝尔•丽——
那份爱意，即便天使生着六翼，
也对我们觊觎，以至妒忌不已。
也就是因为这个缘故了，很久以前，
在这临海的王国里。
一股寒流自云间吹起，
冻殁了我美丽的安娜贝尔•丽。
结果来了她出身名门的亲戚，
就在我的身旁，带着她离我远去。
后来，她便被埋没在一处荒地，
在这临海的王国里。
天使们不及，我们一半的欢愉，
不然，何以对我们心生妒意？
是的！就是因为这一缘故！——
（谁人不知悉？在这临海的王国里。）
才有那股寒流起自云间，在夜里，
让我失去，失去我的安娜贝尔•丽。
可是我们的爱是如此强烈无比——
为那般成人的爱所望尘莫及；
亦非所谓智者之爱可以比拟。
所以管他是天使——他们徜徉在天际；
还是鬼魅——他们蛰居于海底，
谁也无法让我的心魂稍事远离，
远离于我美丽的安娜贝尔•丽——
因为每逢月华普照大地，都让我梦及，
梦及我美丽的安娜贝尔•丽；
每当群星升起于天际，都让我想起，
想起有双明眸属于，我美丽的安娜贝尔•丽。
——就这样，竟夕长夜过去，
我始终与其比邻而居躺在一起；
和我的心爱，我的至爱我的生命我的新娘在一起。
就在她那临海的孤坟里；
在喧嚣的海滨的墓穴里。

In a kingdom by the sea，
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE.
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.
She was a child and I was a child，
In this kingdom by the sea.
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee-
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.
And this was the reason that，long ago，
In this kingdom by the sea，
A wind blew out of a cloud，chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee；
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me，
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.
The angels，not half so happy in the heaven，
Went envying her and me
Yes！That was the reason（as all men know，
in this kingdom by the sea）
That the wind came out of the cloud by night，
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.
But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above，
Nor the demons down under the sea，
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
For the moon never beams，without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee；
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.
And so，all the night-tide，I lie down by the side
Of my darling，my darling，my life and my bride，
In the sepulcher there by the sea，
In her tomb by the sounding sea.
