夕阳腾出最后一块天空
晚风把浮躁扫净
星辰，便在夜的空白处播种
种子洒落人间
种在童年的梦里
陪着歌谣慢慢长高

The night breeze sweeps away impetuousness
Stars sow seeds in the blackness of night
Seeds fall to the world
They’re planted in my childhood dreams
Slowly growing taller with the songs
Pulling away the elasticity of the years, reaching to pick up stars
Simultaneously planted
Are bursts of star language
Chanting love and longing, arranging the perfect life of harmony
Open my palm
There is always a special star
Falling on to my fingerprints
Smiling with bright eyes
Mixing into the light source of time
The stars are still busy
Crossing thousands of rivers and mountains,
Ploughing on the wasteland of my heart
Every inch of time is harvested
Splendour grows between the sky and the earth

任诚刚，英语教授。1989年毕业于美国康科迪亚大学。系威斯康星大学研究生、旅居美国十四年。1998年回国在云南农业大学外语学院担任教学与测试室主任、云南省翻译工作者协会理事、研究生高级文学翻译等课程教学。发表论文50余篇。出版《韵译天安门诗抄100首》《英韵周恩来朱德及陈毅诗选五十首》等译著。
Ren Chenggang，professor of English, graduated from Concordia University US in 1989. He was a graduate student in University of Wisconsin and lived in the United States for 14 years. In 1998, he returned to China and worked at the College of Foreign Languages, Yunnan Agricultural University, serving as the director of the Teaching and Testing Office and is a council member of the Yunnan Translators Association. Teaching Advanced Lilterary Translation and other courses. He has published more than 50 papers. Translation books as rhymed versions of 100 Poems of Tiananmen and 50 selected poems by Zhou Enlai, Zhu De and Chen Yi etc.
