很久前的事了
外婆被撵出了大院
一群满脸稚气的年轻人
挥着标语 唱着
只记得外婆出门时
背影是直挺的
外婆在外面的小屋
只有板床 木凳和旧桌子
孩子们偷着去那儿吃饭
外婆的虎皮蛋是最好吃的
吃饭时小桌搬到床边
哥哥坐凳子
我跟外婆坐床沿上
那个床沿
就是我们的大椅子
每次饭前
外婆在我腰上拍一下
-- 小男子汉 要坐直
-- 没靠的 好累
-- 就算一辈子没靠的
人也要坐直了
... 好多年后
还记得这句话
梦里误入一个大会议室
黑皮椅上独自犯困
网真视频自动打开了
外婆透过老花镜看着我
-- 别靠在椅背上
这些年
学会坐直了？

Seems like a long time ago,
Grandma was expelled from her residence.
A team of youngsters,
Loud and juvenile,
Were waving flags with slogans, and chanting...
She walked out proudly with her back straight up,
That's one of the few memories I have.
Grandma lived in a shack outside,
With only a simple wooden bed, a small stool and an old table.
Children still liked to sneak into there,
Because she made the best eggs with colorful skins.
At dinnertime,
Table was moved to the bedside,
The stool was for elder brother,
And I got to sit next to grandma on the edge of the bed.
That bed, was my big chair.
Before each meal,
Grandma always tapped on my back, and said:
-- sit straight, young man!
-- but it's very tiring with nothing to lean on ...
-- A man should sit straight, even if you never have anything to lean on.
Many years later, I still remember these words...
In a strange dream,
I ended up in a big conference room,
And dozed off on a sofa chair.
Suddenly the video screen opened by itself,
And Grandma was up there staring at me, thru her reading glasses.
-- Don't lean on the back of that chair.
Learned to sit straight now, after all these years?
-- yes, I learned, to sit straight...
