八珍配好小炉烹
花生红豆锅中煮
谷粟糯米放后稠
甘甜味美香四溢
一锅米粥呈多样
玉碗香粥供佛前
祈祷平安万事顺
千年腊粥古今延
一碗香粥赛密甜
谷豆入口齿留香
米粒虽小暖肠胃
全味都在一碗中
腊八饭香年味浓
过了腊八就是年
盼望新春燕衔泥

吕书秀，西安市庆安航空电气公司职工，退休后，兄弟姐妹九人，投资创办文化产业特行实公司，法人代表，每天和飘着花香的文字接触，和文字有着深深的缘，从小喜欢文学，喜欢吟诵，业余时间学习写作。诗歌《五月观看文庙》散文《春天，最美好》作品《七一，歌颂共产党》等作品刊登金榜头条，《八一，军旗红》全国文学大赛中荣获实力诗人奖！作品，《父亲》赞美！我的老母亲！我的后半生，等作品分别刊登其它平台。

The Laba Festival

Minor Cold happily coincides with the Laba Festival.
Eight treasures are well-matched and cooked in a small stove.
Peanuts and red beans are boiled in the pot.
Millet and glutinous rice are added later to thicken.
Sweet and delicious, the fragrance spreads everywhere.
A pot of rice porridge shows variety.
The jade bowl of fragrant porridge is offered before the Buddha.
Pray for peace and smoothness in everything.
The Laba porridge has been passed down for thousands of years.
A bowl of fragrant porridge is sweeter than honey.
Grains and beans leave a lingering fragrance in the mouth.
Though the rice grains are small, they warm the stomach.
All the flavors are in one bowl.
The Laba meal is fragrant and the flavor of the New Year is strong.
After the Laba Festival, it's the New Year.
Looking forward to the new spring when swallows carry mud.

Author's Profile
Lyu Shuxiu is an employee of Xi'an Qing'an Aviation Electrical Company. After retirement, nine siblings invested in establishing a cultural industry special practice company. She is the legal representative. Every day, she is in contact with fragrant words and has a deep bond with words. She has loved literature since childhood and likes chanting. She studies writing in her spare time. Her poems such as "Visiting the Confucian Temple in May" and prose "Spring, the Most Beautiful" and works such as "July 1st, Praising the Communist Party of China" have been published on Golden List Headlines. She won the Powerful Poet Award in the national literature competition of "August 1st, the Red Flag of the Army"! Works such as "Father", praise! My Old Mother! My Second Half of Life, and other works have been published on other platforms respectively.
Her work "Hometown, Roses Outshine Peonies" won the third place of the silver award in the national literature competition. Over the past few years, thousands of her works have been published on domestic literature platforms.
