The best beautiful memories

Affecting our really deep and thorough friendship

I am happy because of you

I am feeling such an attachment​

The chair at my office desk

Is my holy place of happiness

Sitting at my computer with a cup of tea

Surrounded by books with the fragrance of ink

It's weekend again -

There are so many jokes and stories

I want to tell you

At every sunrise and sunset

I try so hard to deliver my promises

My one and only one forever

But, due to special reasons

Even though it’s not far away,

Let the wind of freedom and romance

To write to you​

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。

An Zhanhua, living in  Binhai New District, Tianjin city, engaged in procuratorial, judicial and public security work, retired as a civil servant.  He likes reciting, and wins the first prize of the combination in the Reciting Competition of 2018 Binhai New District around Bohai Sea Cup.
