Lilac blooming everywhere in May
The quiet floral fragrance bursts into my face
I wander in the sea of flowers
Looking for the five-petal lilac faces
May is a clear spring
Gurgling, flowing to your heart
The water is a tinkling bell
Whispering about missing you
May sees romantic poems everywhere
Are you willing
To walk with me hand in hand
Smiling and swaying to the joyful sights
May is playing the intoxicating strings
The breeze singing around my ears
Whispering from my heart

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。

Mr. WU Weixiong，native of Xinhui, Guangdong, China, is a Prof. of Translation (English). He was member of the 4th and 5th Councils of the TAC (1998-2009), and awarded the TAC Certificate of Honor of Senior Translator in 2011. He has published 16 papers in three core journals for translation in China and 6 books on translation. He won three awards, EXCELLENT（first place）, MERIT and ACHIEVEMENT, in the international CALL FOR TRANSLATIONS OF THE NOTED SAYING “桂林山水甲天下”organized by Guilin Municipal Government and the TAC in 2005.

Yun Duo, whose real name is Song Xianyun, is a Chinese anchor of “Overseas Phoenix Poetry Translation society”；a retired cadre of a state-owned enterprise in Tianjin. She has been engaged in TV broadcasting and editing work in large state-owned enterprises for many years, and often served as the host of various activities. In 2018, she participated in the Binhai New Area Peak Recitation Competition and won the first prize in the combination category.
