With us today, in the Babylon section “Translation Literature”/ James Tian (Tian Ju) / James Tian (Tian Yu), a choice from poetry translated by Ana Stjelja, Alia Mundi.

The poetry of a young Chinese poet, James Tian, lyric is in the narrowest sense, with the motives of unrequited love and hidden emotions, suffering and parting, longing and unattended desires; thought poems with religious content from which we learn about the philosophy of Buddhism, daoism and confiscation, as well as reincarnation, i.e. the possibilities of returning souls who died into this world; then beautiful descriptions of nature, flowers and trees and especially many songs about autumn and spring. What's interesting is the fact that spring is just like autumn, most bound to the motives of sadness and longing for distances, distant winds, for passage and death. Although in many poetry of other cultures it is common to make a difference between these two seasons: spring is like the age of birth and dying in autumn. The motives of transient, reflexiveness and meditation about it are deeply woven into the structure of songs and make up their integral part.

According to the vocabulary of literary terms, lyrics or lyrical poetry is a common name for poetry works in which in an emotionally warm and compassionate way expresses the experience of life and the world, but also itself in the world that surrounds him. Great British poet Shelley even believes that ′′ lyrical poetry is the oldest poetry, created at the same time as man ". Sensitivity is essentially lyrical, in the fruit of all its structural elements: both sounds and meaning, melody and rhythm. The lyrical subject is turned to itself, its world, thoughts and moods and internal psychological conditions caused by a certain emotion described in the song. If he is turned to the outside world and a certain experience that inspired him on the song, then it is not with the need to describe a certain event realistic and credibly, how is this the case with epic poetry, but again to drag him through the subjective prism of his own visions ...

卡塔琳娜·萨里奇（Katarina Sarić），塞尔维亚诗人、作家、评论家，生于1976年3月10日。先后在南斯拉沃尼亚（Southern Slavonia）和波德戈里察（FPN Podgorica）进修哲学和文学并毕业，后又完成了政治学研究生的课程。作品被许多国家发表。
