山河如梦,那是家国八千里外情;
我们的悲欢留在心底很深很深;
高山宏伟列队,坚守着美好的人生;
山河如梦,那是家国八千里外情;
I have a Fiery-Red, Chinese heart
By Baiman (Hong Kong)
Tr. Jinghao (UK)
The world is vast and mighty, where is the east wind prevailing in spring,
The mountains and rivers are like a dream, which is the love of the family and country from eight thousand miles away.
Holding a clump of colourful clouds and writing a hymn,
With a Chinese heart, I greet and pay tribute to relatives far away!
The long, long 2020 is about to become an old mark,
Our joys and sorrows stay deep in our hearts;
The Motherland shares our worries and cares: her love and care is always there.
The success of the Motherland in fighting the epidemic has inspired Chinese people all over the world!
The waves roll day and night, singing happily the song of life.
The magnificent mountains line up, sticking to this beautiful life.
With the Motherland always in my heart, I always cherish a sweet faith —
Missing the Motherland and hometown, we enjoy the bright shining as in sunrise every day!
O the world is vast and mighty, which is the east wind prevailing in spring,
The mountains and rivers are like a dream, which is the love of the family and country from eight thousand miles away.
How proud! How happy!

一行行小诗如一串串红鞭炮;
她将五千年的团圆拌和得甜盈盈;

Find the Taste of the Year in Poetry
By Baiman (Hong Kong)
Tr. Jinghao (UK)
Through the light vernal green, the faint cracklings of firecrackers echoes in the distance;
Poetic lines are like strings of red firecrackers.
Writing poems and smelling the joy of childhood in the air,
I am intoxicated by the faint smell of fireworks and sulphur combined with poetic rhyme.
The figure of mother making sweet dumplings is the most sacred,
As she blended the five thousand years of reunion into sweetness;
My loving father in the study, holding a brush pen soaked with thick ink,
Condensed green mountains and red sky into two spring couplets.
The happiest ones were us, the children
Yelling and hiding before and after the Lunar New Year’s Day, playing hide-and-seek.
While staying up all night with the adults at New Year’s Eve
Before the rumblings of the New Year’s footsteps,
I slept in my dreams...
In my happy memory, I deliberated on verses,
The world floating between the lines being always the most beautiful.
"Hail the New Year, hail the New Year!" The shouts of childhood are sweeter than sugar,
My verse also became sweet, and sweet...

最好的象征和寄望;
古老而沧桑;

On the Lantern Festival Night, Moon Bright
By Baiman (Hong Kong)
Tr. Jinghao (UK)
On the Lantern Festival night, we'll hang out a moon lamp;
The Chinese New Year will be complete tonight.
The best symbol and hope,
Sparkle joyously;
Smiling eyes, are like rays of starlight under the moon.
Good arises in my heart;
The brilliance of the ancient moon lamp,
Reflects life’s ups and downs.
In the past year, I've felt my heart flip,
Missing our motherland, and Hong Kong in front of us.
The round moon lamp, weaves light into our longing;
Before me is my home, my Hong Kong, and my China!
Tonight, the full moon isn't a dream, but the best mood.
The Lantern Festival night, lit up by a moon lamp,
I'm proud of the history of five thousand years!

By the Water in Spring Time
By Baiman (Hong Kong)
Tr.Jinghao (UK)
The spring petals as golden billows rippling
Push into the heart waves, singing to the world.
By the water in spring,
I dance freely with a green wicker, enjoying warblers’ singing.
Life is endless, the sun shining;
Literature, philosophy and aesthetics are in the same palace.
I always walk by the water in spring,
My girlish heart fragrant and charming!
