Those days, Aisha was more than happy. She was about to celebrate her 6th birthday.

     Aisha’s mother Khadija used to tell her bedtime stories. But those days her mother Khadija was more than tired and exhausted and she couldn’t fulfill her duty. Aisha was sad for without the bedtime story she couldn’t fall asleep. So she made a wish! She opened the window of her room, she looked into the sky and said: “My name is Aisha, I wish to fall asleep fast and to dream beautiful dreams”. The moon was shinning so bright. It looked as if it was smiling for the little girl, as if he heard her wish. After making a wish, Aisha went to her bed. She put her head on her pillow which was so soft as if it was being made of thousands and thousands of cotton balls.

        The whole room was sleeping calmly along with the little Aisha. But, not for long. All of a sudden the walls started to tremble, the bookshelf started to move forward and some shadows appeared on the wall. Eventually everything stopped. Aisha was still sleeping deep, but her room was in a disarray. Everything was upside down. The books were on the floor, almost all of them except one. It was the book “One thousand and one nights”. The pages of the book started to scroll so quickly that the sound of scrolling woke Aisha up. The girl was confused. Still sleepy, she got up and got surprised when she saw her room. She turned on the light and immediately spotted the open book on the shelf. She approached it to see for herself, was it a dream or not? As she touched the page of the book “One thousand and one nights”, something almost magical happened.

       The window in Aisha’s room was burst open by the gush of a strong wind. Aisha approached the window and her big, brown eyes saw an amazing sight. It was a magic carpet, large and colorful, with tassels the kind of which she had seen in her grandma Mervat’s house. But that was all there was to this miracle! On the carpet there sat a boy whose visage reminded Aisha of Aladdin, the hero from the stories her mother Hadijah used to tell her at bedtime.

      “Hello, Aisha. I’m Aladdin,” he accosted her in a quiet voice.

      “How come you know my name?” Aisha asked shyly.

    “I know it because the Moon whispered it to me. You made a wish, didn’t you? I am here to make it true. Are you ready to go on an adventure?”

      “Where?” asked Aisha.

      “To the Magic Desert,” answered Aladdin.

       Aisha was confused, and a little scared, but deep down in her little soul she was also quite curious.

      “Well, I’d love to. But I’m afraid.”

      “There’s nothing to be afraid of,” said Aladdin.

        The magic carpet landed on the floor of Aisha’s room so that she could climb onto it. As soon as Aisha was seated comfortably, she was lifted off and into her first big adventure.

那些日子里，爱莎非常的高兴，因为她正准备要庆祝她的6岁的生日。

过去，她的母亲哈迪娅常在睡前给她讲故事，但是现在，母亲总是非常的疲惫，已经不能再履行她的“职责”了。她不开心，因为没有睡前的故事，她无法入睡。所以她许了一个愿！推开房间的窗户，望着天空说：“我的名字叫爱莎，我希望可以睡一个好觉，然后再做个美丽的梦”。哦月亮呵，是那么的明亮。它看起来似对小女孩在微笑，亦好像也听到了她的愿望。许愿后，她就上床睡觉了。她把头枕在柔软的枕头上，好像枕头是用成千上万的绒球做成的。

整个房间都和小爱莎一起安静地睡着了。但是，没过多久，突然墙壁开始颤抖，书架也开始向前移动，墙上出现了一些隐约的影子。当一切结束的时候，她还在酣睡，可房间却已一片狼藉了。书掉落在了地板上，但是除了一本外——《一千零一夜》。书页被快速地翻动，那声音终于惊醒了她。女孩还很朦胧的状态，仍然带着困意，但当她看到自己房间的变化时，猛地起来，非常讶异。她打开了灯，立刻发现还未从书架上掉落的那本书。她试着走近它，想去亲眼看一看，这是不是一个梦？而当她触摸到打开的那一页时，一个不可思议的事情发生了。

爱莎房间的窗户被一阵强风吹开，她走近那里，棕色的大眼睛看到惊人的景象。那是一块非常大而五彩斑斓的魔毯，上面还点缀有她在奶奶梅尔瓦特家见过的流苏。这简直是奇迹的发生呀！上面还坐着一个小男孩，他的面容让她想起了阿拉丁，她母亲哈迪加睡前常给她讲的故事中的那位英雄。

“你好呀，爱莎，我是阿拉丁”他用温柔的声音在和她说话。

“你怎么会知道我的名字呢？”她忽然感到害羞地问道。

“我知道是因为月亮对我的耳语，你刚刚许了一个愿，对吗？我是来帮你实现梦想的，你准备好跟我一起去冒险了吗？”

“要到哪里呀？她小声地问道。

“去一个神奇的沙漠”阿拉丁答道。

她有些不解，带着点害怕，但于她小小的灵魂深处，好奇已经充满了五彩的世界。

“嗯，好吧，我很乐意。但我，有点害怕。”

“哦没什么好怕的呀哈哈”他说。

魔毯停落在爱莎房间的地板上，这样，她就可以很容易地爬上去。她舒服地坐了下来，魔毯开始起飞，她人生中的第一次冒险，就这样拉开了序幕。
