秋凉该添衣裳

我的问候

是晨起茉莉散发的清香

起床了吗

起床和我一起

共同远望初升的太阳

有好多好多事需要完成

用行动为社会贡献力量

尽管——

我们站在不同的地方

心灵的相通

在相互的欣赏

对你的颂赞

在我破茧成蝶中

不断让惊喜

飞出一个又一个天窗

因你——

我充满无尽前行的力量

人生中平添的幸福

让我微笑着嘴角上扬

Early Morning Letter

Morning wind gently caresses my face and

My heart drifts far away.

My concerns are for you.

Please remember the autumn is cooler so add more clothes.

My greetings to you is

The fragrance of morning jasmine

Have you woken up?

Get up with me and we’ll 

Look at the rising sun together.

There are so many things to accomplish,

To contribute to society with actions.

Although—

We stand in different places.

We can feel and

Appreciate each other.

When I emerge as a butterfly from my cocoon,

I give my praise to you,

I keep letting  surprises 

Fly out from one dormer after another

Because of you,

I am full of endless forward power

Thank you, I thank you

For bringing happiness into my life.

Thank you, I thank you

For making me smile with up-turned mouth.

Now, I walk happily along 

The flowery road of life.

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。
