A dream took sprout

When I was a little girl.

After the wind and rain, and thousands of hardships,

It has become clearer and stronger.

Like a seagull

Soaring through the storm;

Like a nightingale

Chanting repeatedly;

I want to leave a glorious imprint on this world.

Looking up, the moon is gentle.

I’m infatuated, waiting for

My dream to take wings and

Fly away:

Travelling further and further.

诗人&译者简介：

静好，原名王静，英籍华人。现任海外凤凰诗社副社长兼双语主编、世界名人会荣誉社长，作品散布在各网络平台及报刊杂志如《人民日报》《中国诗刊》《国际日报》等。多次获奖，华诗会会员，联合国《世界生态》杂志顾问。

Gerry Spoors comes from the North-East of England and has written poetry throughout his life. Professionally ，he is a Chartered Chemist and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.His new book ‘Arthur of the Red Robe’ has been published 。
