我决定原谅所有的过往
原谅那些与我背道而驰的人
原谅没有实践的诺言
原谅不再爱我的易变的心
I decide to forgive all the past,
Forgiving those who went counter to me,
Forgiving promises that were not kept,
Forgiving the fickle heart that no longer loves me.
我决定原谅所有的日子
原谅那些遥远的无辜的伤害
原谅春夏秋冬每一个季节里的错误
原谅那些为了活着而羞耻的妥协
I decide to forgive all the days,
Forgiving the distant "innocent hurt",
Forgiving the mistakes in every season,
Forgiving those shameful compromises in order to live.
天空原谅了背叛星辰的陨石
海水原谅了停滞在岸边的浪花
树木原谅了雨打风吹的无情
时光原谅了隐藏在生命里的苦痛
The sky has forgiven the meteorite for betraying the stars;
The sea has forgiven the waves that stop on the shore;
The trees have forgiven the rain for its mercilessness;
Time has forgiven the pain hidden in life.
每个人都有一些
需要被他人原谅的过往
每个人也都掌握着
原谅他人的某些契机
Everyone has a certain past
that needs to be forgiven;
Everyone has a certain opportunity to forgive others.
阳光落在地上
风会吹散斑驳的影子
往事留在心里
光阴一直想教会我们如何遗忘
When the sunlight falls on the ground,
The wind will blow away the mottled shadow.
Though the past stays in my heart,
Time has been trying to teach us how to forget.
我决定原谅
原谅所有不曾被我原谅的错误
我决定放弃
放弃那些纠结了多年的过往
I decide to forgive,
To forgive all the mistakes that I never forgave;
I decide to give up,
To give up the past that has haunted me for years.
当未来一次次在远方唤我的时候
我知道我必须丢掉很多行囊
那么，就让我在记忆中选择原谅
就让我轻装上路，让我的心里
除了远方，只有远方
When the future calls me in the distance over again,
I know I have to throw away a lot of my luggage.
Then, let me choose forgiveness from my memory,
Let me travel light,
Let my heart have the distance, the distance in the distance.
