王洛宾(1913年12月28日-1996年3月14日)，名荣庭，字洛宾，曾用名艾依尼丁，汉族人，出生北京，中国民族音乐家 。1934年(民国二十三年)，毕业于国立北平师范大学(北京师范大学)音乐系。 1938年(民国二十七年)，王洛宾在兰州改编了新疆民歌《达坂城的姑娘》，之后便与西部民歌结下了不解之缘，并将一生都献给了西部民歌的创作和传播事业， 有"西北民歌之父"、"西部歌王"之称。
1988年9月，王洛宾荣获中国人民解放军胜利功勋荣誉奖章。1991年，享受政府特殊津贴。主要作品有《在那遥远的地方》《半个月亮爬上来》《达坂城的姑娘》《掀起你的盖头来》《阿拉木汉》《在银色的月光下
